As a reddit mod yeah it's getting bad, though we at /r/anime still try by using pangram a lot to test for some spambots but it isn't like we get near full coverage.

I think the actual useful thing @max_spero_ and @pangramlabs does for society is raise the cost of creating slop. Slop detection can't catch everything, but by catching some things (raising the bar), it pushes people to spend more effort prompting to avoid detection, which means less slop can produced, some people will not produce it at all.
